Requirements for renting a car
To collect the vehicle you must present your passport or identity card, driving license and valid credit card when collecting the vehicle at the office of the car provider. It is recommendable to print and bring the confirmation voucher of your reservation because in some cases the car provider may charge an extra fee if the voucher is not presented.
The driver's license must be written in latin characters (if your driver`s license card is written in Russian, Arabic, Greek, etc.) you must present a driver's license from your home country and an International Driving Permit. If you are a citizen from a country outsite the European Union you are also required to present an International Driving Permit. The renter must hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 1 year ( with some car rental companies you may be required more) and a minimum age of 21 years (with some providers for certain car groups the minimum age may be 23 or 25 years, in case of any doubts, please contact our customer service.)
BCO makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the prices at the time of making a reservation through any of our websites. However, BCO reserves the right to amend the price in case of an obvious mistake. BCO will make every effort to inform the customer as soon as possible if this price is incorrect. If there might be any difference between the price offered and the correct one, the customer can decide wheather to pay the difference, choose the alternative that one of our agents will propose or request the refund of the amount paid. Please note that some providers charge mandatory extras that are not reflected in the rental price.
The currency exchange rates are updated regularly. BCO declines all responsibility for any discrepancies that may arise between the price displayed by BCO and the amount charged to your credit card due to the exchange rate used.
When making your online quotation, please see "Conditions" section next to the logo of each car provider where you can read what is included / not included in price shown. Please note that many providers offer a basic (cheaper) rate, a full-full or a premium rate with higher coverages. Please see the terms of each rate and select the one that best suits your needs. Once booking has been sent we understand that you accept the conditions stated on the website.
Mode of payment
At the moment you have several modes of payment at your disposal: Prepayment of the car rental reservation online, partial prepayment online or payment of the total reservation amount on arrival. When collecting the car the rental companies will ask for a credit card issued in the name of the main driver even if the reservation has previously been prepaid online. Upon arrival you will be charged fuel and extras that may apply, such as child seats, GPS, additional driver etc. as well as a guarantee deposit. Please keep in mind that most of the car rental company do not accept payment with American Express or Diners Club. If you choose a luxury car group you will be asked to present 2 credit cards as a guarantee.
In the case of not providing a valid credit card or with insufficient funds, the car rental company can refuse the delivery of the vehicle and there will be no refunds of the amount previously paid.
If you are picking up your car at an airport, be sure to fill in the booking form with the correct flight number. It is very important detail for correct delivery of the vehicle at the airport. If this information has not been provided BCO cannot accept any liability in case of any problems.
If you want to travel outside the country, please contact us before making your reservation as not all providers allow to travel abroad and most of them have restrictions on which countries you can visit. In some cases, extra charges may apply for travelling abroad.
Car modells or car brands
We can not guarantee specific car makes, models or the type of fuel used (unless it is a group that only includes diesel vehicles). The cars shown on the website and on your voucher are merely for example and can be changed for other models of similar caracteristics
A basic insurance is included in the rental price: third party cover, collission damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection with or without excess depending on the car provider. The basic insurance excludes damage to tyres, wheels, glass, the undercarriage of the vehicle, mirrors, hubcaps, towing, taxi expenses arrising from road assistance requested nor compensation for days of paralysis of the car to repair. There is the possibility of purchasing additional coverage when collecting your vehicle to cover all or part of these exclusions. You can also purchase the BCO Protect service when making your reservation online so you can claim the reembursement of what you paid for the damage affecting some of the elements mentioned before. If you choose the option that we offer on our website, you must reject the insurance offered by the car rental company and leave a guarantee deposit that will be returned once the car has been returned in good condition. In case of any mishap, BCO will refund the amount charged for damage to the items covered by this service: glass, tires, undercarriage of the vehicle, hubcaps, mirrors and loss of keys. In the case of any damage is important to fill out the accident report, even if there was no other party involved.
If you have already collected the vehicle and wish to extend the rental days, you must contact BCO at least 24 hours before the end of the rental contract. We will request the extension to the car provider and once the extension has been accepted you will have to stop by the provider's office to sign the new rental contract before initial contract expires. If the rental contract has not been extended before the end date a penalty charge will be applied.
As a general rule, cancellation is free within 48 hours of making the reservation. After this time, you will be charged an administrative fee of € 18 or the equivalent to the amount previoulsy paid if it is less than this amount. Some car providers have specific cancellation conditions. Please check these conditions under each car provider logo. Some examples are: Goldcar has a not refundable product, this rate does not allow cancellations or modifications, therefore it is not possible to make any reimbursements or the prepaid amount. Interrent does not allow cancellations if it is done with less than 2 hours previous to the collection of the vehicle. Click and Rent, Class and Keddy accept free cancellations if they are done with more than 24 hours in advance, otherwise a charge of 50€ or the price of the booking if it is inferior.
Under no circumstances It is posible to cancel a booking after the reservation date and time. Nor there will be refunds in case of No show (if you do not collect the vehicle). If you make an online payment, please check your email inbox and spam to make sure that you have received the confirmation voucher. You can also print your voucher at the web www.booking-centre-online.com in the section My reservations, you will need the email you filled into the reservation form and booking number. If you did not have the reservation number please contact our customer service department on firstname.lastname@example.org.
BCO not be directly or indirectly responsible for any failure by the supplier or any delay in the performance of any of our obligations under compliance with any reserve or electronic confirmation voucher, rental or terms and conditions, if the subject of failure is caused by force majeure or for reasons beyond this company. In this case BCO is committed to offering an alternative vehicle with the same company or a different one and if not satisfied with the new proposal will reimburse the full amount that has been paid in the case of prepaid bookings.
BCO reserves the right to cancel a reservation with limited or immediate notice in certain extreme circumstances such as the insolvency of a rent a car company. Whatever the circumstance, we try by all means seek an alternative vehicle. However in periods of high demand this sometimes may not be possible. When the customer has paid the full reservation, we will notify the customer as soon as possible and will reimburse the client all the money paid in advance.
We hope that the service we provided for you met your expectations. However, if there is any aspect that is not satisfactory you can contact us by e-mail or tel. 902 88 31 91 or 965 79 00 10 within 30 days after returning the vehicle. Beyond this limitation period BCO cannot handle any complaints received.
These terms and conditions and the relationship between BCO and the User shall be governed by spanish law expressly submitting the parties to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Denia (Alicante). In the event of contradictions between the spanish and the english version of these terms and conditions, the spanish version shall prevail.
Protection of personal data
According to the provisions of the Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPD) BCO informs the users that their personal data will be incorporated into an automated file of personal data created under the responsibility of the company in order to manage the rental of vehicles and keep you informed about all the offers and products that may be of your interest. In case of commercial communications through email, the user gives express consent to send advertising via this medium.
This consent may be revoked at any time by sending a request to BCO Bookings S.L., Avda. Del Pla, 130, office 1.01 Javea, Alicante or by email to email@example.com.
